As entertainment providers to The Black Forge Inn, Dublin based Empire Events & DJs were asked back to supply lighting and entertainment services at The Black Forge in Dublin for Proper Twelve Day. An annual event Proper Twelve day is a huge day long celebration of Irish Whiskey Proper Twelve. As a growing entertainment company with an ever expanding rental inventory, Empire needed to expand their range of wireless battery powered uplights. After a visit to BeamZ exclusive Irish reseller Djbox.ie in Tallaght and a long evaluation process Empire settled on the BBP94W uplights.

Commenting on the choice Empire Managing Director Dylan McKeon Commented, “we already had wireless uplights in stock, but being a high profile venue and event we wanted to step up our game and enhance our offering. We called to Djbox and after checking out a number of options we were delighted to choose the BeamZ units. The invade charging, colour brightness, battery life and complementary wireless controller were all key in the decision making process. I was also presented surprised at how incredibly cost effective they were too. We will be adding to our inventory of these ahead of summer events”.

We asked Mark at Djbox, our local exclusive partner for BeamZ and our other brands what led to the customer choosing BeamZ. Mark said “as a retailer our job is often simple, we line up the options and we answer the questions. Our event and industry customers often know themselves what they are looking for and what they need. In this case the BeamZ fixtures met Empires brief and came in below their budget expectations. This one was pretty straight forward”
